FLOO — Fluid Link Over Outages — is our proprietary protocol for carrying a live conversation across many network paths at once and rerouting it around failures in real time. It runs over a private overlay network we operate on top of the public internet.
No special hardware. Participants join from a modern browser or our desktop and mobile apps. If you'd like, FLOO can also be embedded directly inside your own product using our SDK.
Your sessions travel across relays we run and manage, rather than relying solely on the open, hop-by-hop routing of the public internet. We choose and steer the routes, which is what makes sub-second rerouting possible.
Media is encrypted end to end between participants. The overlay forwards only encrypted packets and is designed so it cannot read your content. Security and compliance specifics are covered in detail during onboarding.
